Resurrection of Peace and Joy

This week in Ishinomaki we have had the honor to work with many children who survived the Tsunami here.

Below you can see the following photos. Here is the description of each photo in the order they appear in this email (not their names, sorry for any confusion).

1st photo- Remembering the difficult times and preparing to transform them into something beautiful!

2nd photo- Ripping up newspaper articles of the bad memories of the Tsunami printed on their hearts, souls, and minds. Only Jesus can replace those memories with peace and joy!

3rd photo- Pieces of the painful memories (newspaper), asking God for the miracle of making bitter water into sweet water, using pieces of the planted tree of joy.

4th photo- Praying for God´s fire to burn up with His Holy Spirit the bad memories, to give us joy, peace, and righteousness, to take away any nightmares and replace them with beautiful, heavenly dreams.

5th photo- The joy of the Lord is truly our strength!

The children have been so happy making the puppets, painting them, watching how God can transform something tragic into something beautiful and fun.

Also, here on Easter Sunday a woman from Ishinomaki gave her life to Christ while taking communion, praise God!

We pray you continue to filled with joy, love, peace, and righteousness.
